Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mops are becoming more efficient, passing our cleaning tests and tackling various floor types. Select models that allow you to choose between multiple types, including self-emptying and clean stairs.
Many of the top models integrate with your smartphone. Look for an application that lets you save maps, create schedules and select cleaning options.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is among the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos available. It makes use of lidar to navigate, and create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels) and is compatible with the free Eufy Clean app that lets you set schedules and customize the S1's behavior.
When I tested the S1, it was able to map our downstairs, which is home to Linoleum flooring in the kitchen/dining room and bathrooms, plus carpeting with a medium-pile and an area rug. It was able to drive close to walls and even across raised thresholds without any problems. However, it had some difficulty navigating down the stairs in one pass. The S1 performed admirably in cleaning hard floors. Its mop drove smoothly on its flat side and raised itself when it came to carpets or rug.
After every mopping session, the docking station of the S1 automatically emptys its dust bin and refills the water tank onboard with clean filtered ozonated water. The dock also adds a cleaning solution into the water to ensure deep cleaning. The S1 water tank can be able to accommodate 12 mopping sessions, however this will differ dependent on how often you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots, the S1 requires periodic maintenance to keep it working well. You'll need to periodically rinse out the tank that has been contaminated to avoid it becoming clogged. It is also necessary to clean your sensors and swivel wheel regularly to prevent them from getting blocked by dust or dirt. Overall the S1 is easy to maintain, especially compared to other combos which require more effort to maintain.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
This all-in-one robotic mop and vacuum from Ecovacs is a great choice to meet your cleaning needs. The robot vacuum has 8700Pa of suction power and comes with many innovative features including voice control and smart path planning that cleans around furniture and eliminates obstacles. The mopping capabilities of the robot are impressive, with rotating mops that actually lift and scrub the floor rather than simply moving the pad across it. The mops can also be cleaned and dried at the base station when required.
The robot is simple to setup and use, and has a clear interface that walks you through the procedure. It also includes a hand vacuum which can be utilized to clean those difficult to reach areas that the robot cannot reach. There are also two water tanks that are automatically filled or empty. It comes with a range of settings that can be used to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does well at vacuuming, with strong suction that easily picks up most of the debris, and even smaller bits of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are pretty good, although it could get stuck on small mats and rugs in my home (which you can mitigate by creating virtual boundaries within the app). Mopping capabilities are excellent, with a pair spinning mop pads that lift and scrub the floor, rather than just drag the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned with heated water, and dried in the base station when needed. Mops can also be filled at the top of the station when they are required.
3. Dreame X40 Ultra

Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was launched earlier this year. However, their latest flagship model has even more impressive features. It offers outstanding cleaning results and hands-free maintenance making it a top contender for our best robot vacuum and mop list. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection and a larger side brush will ensure a thorough, customized clean is achieved.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, picking up fine and large debris from hard floors as well as carpets. It was able to clean the dirtiest areas of our tests with ease by avoiding pet hairs as well as other messes. The sweeping performance of the machine is enhanced by a sidebrush which automatically moves out to reach hard-to-reach areas, and a mop pad that extends across baseboards.
Its navigation is intelligent, navigating tiny spaces and negotiating stairs without stepping back. robotic hoovers can go from one room to the next without having to change direction. This is useful for homes that have multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is less advanced than that of some competitors and leaves a wide margin over obstacles. This can result in miss-hit spots.
The app is streamlined, intuitive interface that should be easy for both novice and experienced users. The app allows you to plan and manage cleanings, adjust the suction power and mopping settings and view 3D and 2D maps, and much more. It can be controlled through the app, Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri and allows you to keep an eye on its progress from anywhere. You can also use the X40 Ultra's camera remotely, for real-time video supervision. You will require a stable WiFi connection to use the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 pro
Robot vacuums are great at removing dirt and debris, but they can't reach all dust. This is why it's important to make use of your regular vacuum once every week, particularly to remove dust from corners, on shelves and in the corners of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robot designed specifically for this purpose. It's easy to connect to your home Wi-Fi network, and is compatible with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more convenient addition to your cleaning routine.
The Q5 is a stripped down version of the more expensive models in the S-series from the company, which includes the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It is equipped with a similar LIDAR mapping sensor, but saves on cost by removing mopping and using a cheaper plastic body.
Despite losing the ability to clean your floors, the Q5 has some of the best mopping and vacuum performance we've seen on a robot in this price range. It has a powerful suction of 5500Pa, and an automatic empty system, so you don't have to empty the bin by hand each time. It also comes with a smart app that lets you select your floor type and schedule cleanings. It also has an automatic refill of the water tank and wash system that allows hands-free operation.
Its mops also impress with its 2700Pa power that can take on pet hair and dirt on carpets as well as hard floors. The Q5 was one of the few robots we tested to not have a problem with high-pile area carpets and rugs. However, it did not remove kitty-poop or cable tangles. This isn't too surprising because it doesn't include AI-powered obstacle-avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is one of the quietest robovacs we've tested. It also utilizes a unique system to map your home, which really helps it get into places that other vacuums are unable to reach. This device also stores dust in a larger dustbin which means you need to empty it less often. It also has washable filters, which can further cut costs. This robot can also detect carpets and boost the suction if required. The app allows you to mark areas you want to stay clear of and is a great feature.
